Lead Front End Engineer for Facebook integration, bookmarklet, feed, onboarding flow, and the TwitVid.com to Telly.com rebrand and redesign.

This was 2011–2012, when Facebook and Twitter distribution shaped consumer product growth and mobile web usage was forcing redesigns away from desktop-first layouts. I shipped three production efforts from that relaunch, moving Telly from TwitVid's brand to a social-distribution-first product.

  1. TwitVid to Telly relaunch

    Product redesign

    Led frontend execution for TwitVid's relaunch as Telly: visual rebrand, responsive redesign, and a modern Backbone/RequireJS single-page application. Transformed a video utility into a social video discovery product with profiles, feeds, and sharing mechanics.

  2. Facebook signup and sharing

    Social integration

    Built frontend flows for Facebook Login, social signup, friend discovery, and feed sharing. These integrations reduced account creation friction and gave Telly a distribution path through the dominant social graph of the era.

  3. Bookmarklet, profiles, and activity feeds

    Discovery tooling

    Built a JavaScript bookmarklet for capturing video from the web, user profiles, and followed-user activity feeds. Created the infrastructure for sharing and discovery across Telly's social platform, including mobile-optimized onboarding.

About Telly

Telly was a social video platform that grew out of TwitVid and repositioned around social TV and video discovery. The frontend work combined product relaunch execution, social API integrations, and responsive application architecture during the Backbone/RequireJS era.
